The City Park, located in Griffin, Georgia (Spalding County) consists of 200 acres which include five pavilions, six tennis courts, two handicap-accessible playgrounds, AMBUCS putt-putt golf course, city pool, city golf course and ball fields (the ball fields are used by the Spalding County Recreation Department for summer leagues). The City of Griffin provides reserved pavilions located at the City Park. These pavilions can be used for family reunions, birthdays, weddings, parties, graduations, cookouts, and other events. All pavilions have grills and picnic tables. The City of Griffin is located in Spalding County, GA. NO refunds for pavilion reservations.

The Public Works Division supervises and maintains the landscaping and facilities of the park and golf course to ensure that all visitors can enjoy a clean and safe park. Our phone number is (770) 229-6603.

The City Park is the site for the annual July 4th fireworks display sponsored by the City and County, and the annual MayFling arts and craft fair sponsored by the Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce.

General Reservation Questions

What is the cost to reserve a pavilion?

For pavilions #1, #3, #4, #5 the price is $35 for a 4 hour block and $60 for a 8 hour block. For pavilion #2 the price is $45 for a 4 hour block and $80 for a 8 hour block.

Do I have to set up an account and be verified before booking a pavilion?

No. We do not require you to set up an account before booking a pavilion. We want the process to be as simple as possible.

Can I call the City of Griffin and ask for a pavilion to be held until I pay?

No, our pavilions are first-come, first-served. The easiest way to reserve is online with a credit card. If you want to reserve a pavilion by phone, call the Public Works office, City of Griffin, GA at (770) 229-6603 during business hours.

Can I get a refund?

Refund policies are set by the county or city. The City of Griffin does not issue refunds for pavilion rentals.
